Interlibrary Loan
Research materials not owned by the Fundamental Library of the Latvia University of Life Sciences and Technologies (LBTU FB) can be requested from other libraries using the Interlibrary Loan (ILL) and the International Interlibrary Loan (IILL). Using the ILL, it is possible to order literature from other libraries in Latvia, but the IILL - literature from foreign libraries or document supply centres. These services can be used by any user of the LBTU FB.
To order the appropriate material, it is necessary to state precise and complete bibliographic information about the publication.
The usage of the received materials: books received via the ILL or IILL are not lent for reading at home.

Since 1994 the LBTU FB is a participant of the Agricultural Libraries Network (AGLINET). AGLINET is a voluntary network of major agricultural libraries in the world providing usually free of charge loan and photocopy services between members for nationally produced materials on agriculture and related sciences.
